by L. R. Hen
illustrated by Jago
WINNER of the UK NATIONAL LITERACY ASSOCIATION'S WOW! AWARD 2006 (for best children's titles). Little Red Hen finds some grains of wheat but when she asks the cat, the dog and the goose to help her plant them, they are all too busy. When Little Red Hen has finally grown the wheat, harvested it, turned it into flour and baked it into bread the others are only to willing to help her eat it - but will she let them? The gentle repetition and humorous second story unfolding in the illustrations makes this a joyful retelling of the classic fable.

She threw up some blood, so I took her to the vet. They checked her stool (blood there also) and drew some blood. She was a bit dehdaryted, so they gace her a shot of something, it gave her a bit of an appetite and re-hydrated her. She seems ok for now, just tired, like anyone would be if they were sick. I don't think she's in pain. We'll know more tomorrow when the blood test results are in. Keep your fingers crossed, but be prepared.

Well. it seems obvious: sugar and wheat are drugs criteang addictions and cravings. Think about people with withdrawal symptoms when they stop eating these things. And the most sneaky thing in this is that most people don't know that they are drug addicts because of these pseudo-foods. Looking back at my own behaviour, I can clearly see it

Over this last year I've finally figerud out my sensitivity to wheat is the cause of my aching joints and have stopped it. My next experiment is to have it once a month to see if that can be managed by my body. Next test period is Christmas. Eventually i may decide it's not worth it ever because it hurts like arthritis and this Aug it was so bad, when I leaned on my palm to do a turkish getup, it was fire along all my individual bones in my hand and there are a lot! Crazy how foods can affect us and I have to say, I never noticed a lot of the sensitivities until I ate clean for awhile. A blessing and a curse . I'm sure it was because not eating clean created so much havoc and noise in my body I couldn't isolate the cause. Plus getting older, I'm sure the body gets less forgiving.

It isn't a might be Csaba. It is way crazy evil but gluten is only the most well untsoedrod part of it. Seriously, you are as smart a guy as I know, pick up the book Wheat Belly and give it a read. If you doubt the author, follow the research references given at the back of the book.
