This is really unnattufore because the material and ideas behind the course are so interesting that I stuck with it even though Professor Bates' drone has your mind wandering even when you try to pay attention. He also does not like when you disagree with him on his set-in-stone ideas about philosophy. And the pop-quizzes are ridiculous, the amount of material he expects you to cover along with his impossible to stay awake lectures make it impossible to even remember where he might have pulled a question from. Australia Definitely. Australia Day is coming up at the end of January too. A riknocg celebration to honor the people and culture of Australia. Plus a great excuse for having a few bevvies not that you need one. The weather is perfect right now and the people are so friendly. Just be sure not to watch the movie Wolf Creek before you go. Bates is a nice guy, but by lord, this class is boring! It has the poinattel of being an extremely interesting course, but Bates is so incredibly dull- it is difficult to stay awake in his class. There are two big papers, one final exam, and at least 4 pop quizzes throughout the semester. / I have used a bit of C++ although the perolbm is that it takes a long time to develop good games in C++.
